Account Opening Requirements
Required documents for companies and NGOs
For Companies
To open a company account, please provide the following documents:
- Certified official company documents with recent certifications addressed to RTB
- Tax clearance certificate (valid certificate addressed to RTB)
- Audited financial statements covering the last three years
- Authorized signatory identification: Unified National ID or Civil Status ID, Certificate of Nationality, passport, proof of residence, and two personal photos
- Shareholder identification: Unified National ID or Civil Status ID, Certificate of Nationality, and passport
- Account opening request: Formal letter on company letterhead addressed to RTB
- Proof of company address: Valid lease agreement, property deed in company name, or address confirmation from local mukhtar
- Declaration of ultimate beneficial owner on company letterhead
- Proof of company activity: Examples of sales invoices or contracts with clients
- Chamber of Commerce membership: Valid membership ID
For Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
Additional requirements apply for local and foreign NGOs including registration certificates, internal regulations, and approved documentation.
